The lighthouse is located on the shore of the Taganrog Bay. It looks like it was built in the 19th century. But in fact, the lighthouse and several houses nearby were built only in 2017 as scenery for the filming of the television series The Lighthouse Keeper. All buildings are built in full size and give the impression of a small quiet village on the seashore. After the end of filming, the scenery was going to be destroyed, but instead a small tourist park Oxyland appeared here with an observation deck, gazebos, benches, swings, a zip line and photo locations. Entrance here is paid. You can get there both by car and by train (the station is a couple of hundred meters away). The place is very atmospheric!
