These really perfect rest stops don't come around very often, but this one is definitely one of them. A bench in the middle of a green meadow, a rubbish bin and then this perfect view across Lake Trammer to Plön Castle, which towers above it. Simply wonderful - and above all very lonely.

The walk uphill to the bench takes you to a vast lake landscape, and you realize why the region is called "Holstein Switzerland": hilly and mountainous with forests, fields, and lakes.
