    The ensemble of buildings in the center of Hoffenheim houses the local history museum in the old post office building and a typewriter museum in "Haus Brehm". Between the two buildings is the former tithe barn of the Barons von Gemmingen.
    There were probably previous castle- or palace-like buildings here. It is assumed that the seat of the former local nobility was also located here.

        The Typewriter Museum in Hoffenheim shows around 200 very well-preserved and functional examples from 150 years of typewriter history, from the first wooden machine by the inventor Peter Mitterhofer to the transition to the digital computer world.
