The Huy ("Hüh", from Old High German for height, also Huywald) between Dardesheim and Schwanebeck in the district of Harz in Saxony-Anhalt is a to 314.8 m above sea level. NHN high ridge in the northern Harz foreland.

The villages such as Badersleben, Anderbeck, Dingelstedt and Eilenstedt (to the north; to Huy) as well as Sargstedt, Aspenstedt and Athenstedt (to the south; to Halberstadt) are with the exception of Huy- Neinstedt, Wilhelmshall, Mönchhai and Röderhof (all to Huy) around the range of hills, but partly reach up to its slopes.
The Huy extends from east to west over a length of around 12 km and from north to south over a width of around 3 km.
The highest of the elevations in the Huy is the Buchenberg.
