King's Gate (Brama Królewska) on the northern boundary of the old town, as part of the fortress of Stettin between 1725 and 1727 in the Baroque style according to Prussian plans. built by the master builder Gerhard Cornelius von Walrave. On the eastern wall there is a commemorative plaque dedicated to the Polish general Dezyder Chłapowski, who was imprisoned in the Szczecin fortress. The Wedel chocolate bar is located in the Royal Gate.
