The evangelical parish church of St. Anna is a baroque hall church in the Tuttendorf district of Halsbrücke in the district of Mittelsachsen. It belongs to the Evangelical parish of Halsbrücke in the church district of Freiberg of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Saxony. The church was originally a pilgrimage chapel dedicated to St. Anne. A chapel dedicated to St. Anne, the patron saint of miners, was probably built at the site between 1190 and 1218.[1] The essentially medieval hall church was rebuilt in the Baroque style and received side extensions in 1871/1872. Restorations took place in 1936, 1983 and the interior in 1989. The building is a plastered quarry stone building with a retracted, rectangular closed chancel, which is almost as large as the nave and possibly originated from an older chancel tower. In the middle of the hall is a strong roof turret with a hood. The light-filled interior is topped with a remarkable stucco ceiling dating back to 1710. It shows Christian and mining symbols as well as suggested scenes from the Bible, which are decorated with fine foliage and tendrils, some with gold heightening, and were restored in 1988/1989. The hall is surrounded by originally two-storey galleries, some of which were reduced to one storey on the north and western south side. An organ gallery is installed in the west and a patron's box on the south side of the choir. In the sacristy there is also a flat stucco ceiling with putti and a tetragram.
