The Sainte Radegonde fountain is one of the essential points of the Montmorency forest. It was the object of a pilgrimage because it was said that its water healed the sick. But who is Radegonde? Born in Thuringia around 520, she was forced to marry Clotaire 1er, but later broke away from the secular world to lead a monastic life. The fact is that the fountain is quite pretty and worth a detour, just to spice up your itinerary.
