Located at the bottom of the rue du Mouligneau, near the Saint-Ghislain wood and the Moranfayt farm, the water mill is built next to the miller's house. In 1743, it belonged to an inhabitant of Dour who continued to pay an annuity to the abbey of Saint-Ghislain in order to be able to enjoy the use of the mill.
In 1857, the mill was put up for sale. Thus, François Mollet, acquires it and rebuilds new facilities. In 1861, he transformed it again by installing there in particular a steam engine intended to supplement the increasingly insufficient and irregular hydraulic force. In 1865, the buildings were again completely rebuilt. Subsequently, in 1898, following an inheritance, an annuitant from Ath and a miller from Dour became co-owners. However, Jean-Baptiste Mollet-Gobert became the sole owner of the mill in 1902.
In 1903, the mill was transformed into a brewery in which, in 1917, the hydraulic motor was still used to drive the brewery's devices. In addition, the hydraulic installations are also used for the milling. They were decommissioned in 1944. The pond was then backfilled so that the millstones of the mill were buried there.
