        From the Sommerseitenweg you have a wonderful view of Baiersbronn. Above the Sommerseitenweg is the "Murgleiter Portal". The 110-kilometre-long Murgleiter winds its way through the deeply dug Murg Valley in the northern Black Forest on a variety of paths and natural paths. The imposing cliffs and lovely meadows as well as the steep forest slopes and medieval castle ruins with magnificent panoramic views give the guest a unique hiking experience.
        All five demanding hiking stages fully meet the criteria of the "German Hiking Seal". Since 2008, the Murgleiter has been one of the top-class German hiking trails and is rightly called the "Premium Hiking Trail". The ascent to the Rinkenkopf with the Rinkenturm built in 1914 (unfortunately closed at the moment) is also worthwhile. It is not far from Rinkenkopf to the "Satteleihütte" at an altitude of 706 meters. The hut is open daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sundays from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Visit recommended.
