Beautiful woodland single track trail. It's a climb into the woods and then flattens out through the trees before another climb up and out.

Just a couple of other tips on this. It might be my ageing legs but the wood comes at the end of a proper drag of a climb (sit and spin them rings) from the side of the thin part of Ladybower Reservoir. It basically splits off and goes straight up .
Once in the woods it follows a clear path curving slowly around to the right. This can be a little frustrating in very muddy conditions but I would not be tempted to leave the main path as this is a) bad for the trail and b) too easy to get stuck as it is very uneven off trail (rabbits?).

My favourite Peaks woodland singletrack trail. It's a climb to begin with but flattens out as you make your way into the mystical trees.
