To gain an insight into the life and work of the inhabitants of a small moor edge village from days gone by.
The Dörpmuseum Münkeboe is a hands-on museum. Here you can literally get your hands on the power that a blacksmith had to use to make tools and equipment out of red-hot iron. Grab a blacksmith's hammer and let the anvil "sing". On the working days, the "old" craftsmen are at your side with advice and action.

With the exception of the mill, our museum is handicapped accessible.

But a visit is also worthwhile on all other opening days (Tuesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.).

Take a look around and become curious about what you can discover here. Your children will also be delighted. The Dörpmuseum Münkeboe wishes them a lot of fun.
By the way, dogs are also allowed in here.
