In the place of the current town hall there was an older building with a flight of stairs and pillory. It had to be canceled in March 1750 because it was dilapidated. The new town hall is a three-storey building with six window axes in the main view and a mansard roof, in the middle of which the clock tower covered with a dome rises. The facades are structured by cornices, the windows are provided with profile frames. The gargoyles with their pretty silhouette stand out on the two roof corners facing the market square.
The wide, arched portal on the ground floor is impressive, crowned with the coat of arms of Prince-Bishop Karl Philipp von Greiffenclau (1749 - 1754). Two smaller coats of arms lean towards the middle with a sweeping motion. On the left, with the horse's head, the coat of arms of the Barons von Zobel, who often provided the officials in Röttingen, and on the right the city coat of arms of Röttingen.

Two flat belt straps exaggerate and carry the Franconian ducal crown. On both sides below, the sword and crook are tucked behind the coat of arms, as a sign of the sovereign power of the Würzburg prince-bishops. Two smaller coats of arms show a horse's head on the left, the coat of arms of the Barons von Zobel, who provided some officials in Röttingen, and on the right the city coat of arms of Röttingen, St. George in silver armor with a golden lance and red cross. Johann Michael Joseph van der Auwera made the gate in 1752.
