    The only fully functional of the three windmills within the Holstein Switzerland Nature Park is in Ascheberg-Langenrade.
    The windmill with the name "Sventana" was built in 1860 in Kleinmühlen near Plön. In Ascheberg, the mill has only been standing since 1890 as a replacement for a burnt down predecessor. In 1982 three couples who were enthusiastic about mills decided to make the mill functional again. After considerable financial expenditure and many hours of work, the one-storey gallery Dutchman has been windy and fully functional again since 1990.
