From the bridge you have a wide view of the Neue Jeetzel (we locals only call it "the canal") at Liepehöfen. The canal itself is not so interesting here, as it was artificially created, mostly straight, is diked on both sides and offers no variety in terms of vegetation (mainly grassy areas).
The old Jeetzel, which was partly left in its natural state, is much more beautiful and interesting.
The surrounding landscape of the Neue Jeetzel is very beautiful. There are also concrete slabs "dyke paths" on both sides of the canal, which are wonderfully suitable for cycling (and are also approved for this). Here you can, for example, cycle nicely and quietly to Lüchow without being bothered by noise and exhaust fumes from motor vehicles. My favorite route for me to cycle from Dannenberg to Lüchow (or back).
