The neo-Gothic Ketschendorf Castle is located in the Coburg district of Ketschendorf at the foot of the Buchberg. The castle is one of the most perfect buildings in the neo-Gothic belt of Coburg and has had nine different owners. From 1956 onwards it was used as a youth hostel, which was closed on December 1, 2010. In 2013 the Coburg company Kaeser Kompressoren acquired the property and had it converted into a seminar and training center.
