        The Zingaro nature reserve (no national park!) Is officially entered at the two entrances at the northern and southern ends. During the official opening hours an entrance fee is due. You always come out.

        A charming path snakes slightly above the coast through steppe vegetation and low palm bushes, again and again with wonderful views of the magnificent landscape.                 Entering the Zingaro Nature Reserve meant taking a step back - away from the noise, towards the silence of Sicilian nature. This place, saved from the construction of a road by the resistance of the population, feels like a living piece of history.

                At the entrance, hidden and modest, I paid the entrance fee - a small contribution to the protection of this paradise. The path led me along the coast, surrounded by olive and carob trees, punctuated by the flight of falcons. The Mediterranean flora bloomed around me, a testament to nature's resilience, even after a fire consumed almost everything years ago.

                I followed a narrow path to Cala della Disa, a hidden cove with crystal clear water, a picture of tranquility. "Take only pictures, leave only footprints", this principle seemed to be not just a rule here, but a promise to nature.

                The hike took its toll, but every step was worth it. I stopped to rest, to enjoy the view and breathe the silence. The camera in my hand served to capture the beauty, but the real impressions were stored in my heart.

                When I left the park, I was filled with a deep sense of gratitude. Zingaro taught me to appreciate the beauty of the moment and to understand the importance of protecting nature.
