    On the Werewolf trail is reminiscent of Peter Stubbe, who was publicly executed in the most famous werewolf process in the 16th century in Bedburg for werewolfing in 1589.         Peter Stubbe lived as a freelance farmer in the tiny village of Epprath, close to Kaster. With this disease, those affected believe that they can transform themselves into a wolf. Stubbe lived on his farm with his daughter and another relative. That already made him suspicious in the eyes of his neighbors.           Today werewolves enjoy some popularity in modern fantasy legends.
