It has the two peaks Prussian Velmerstot (South Summit, about 464 m above sea level NHN [1]), the peak of which rises in the area of ​​Steinheim-Sandebeck in the district Höxter, and the Lippische Velmerstot (♁⊙; Nordkuppe, 441.4 m [1]), which is located in the district of Horn-Bad Meinberg in the district of Lippe.
