From 1873 to 1895 stood between the today's mill and the miller house an older mill building, probably a Kokermühle. In 1896/97 the 2-storey gallery holland with a ridge height of 17.5 m was built. In 1970, the grinding operation was switched to engine power. After Müller Bartling retired in 1986, the Heimatverein Leezdorf acquired the mill and restored it. 1992 to 1994, the mill plant was extended by a stylish new barn in Gulfhaus style (wooden stand construction). On the ground floor of the Packhouse, the Heimatverein set up an exhibition "Old Customs (Oll bruukdom)", which gives an insight into the life of Moorsiedler in the 19th and 20th centuries. The former storage room has been converted into a cozy tearoom. The Müllerhaus houses an exhibition room with original and miniature agricultural machines. In addition, the home club behind the mill has a new building ("Boo") set up as a function room.
