    The Schellenberger Bach is a 2.4 km long flowing water and right tributary of the Ruhr in Essen. It rises between the Essen districts Stadtwald and Heisingen at an altitude of about 145 m in the Schellenberger Forest near Heisinger Straße.

    It flows northeast through the forest, crosses under the federal highway 227 (Wuppertaler Straße) and finally flows north of Heisingen at an altitude of about 40.5 m from the right into the Ruhr.
