This lake is probably the best peri-urban location for the runner. Indeed, under the leadership of the new Mayor Frédéric Augis, the lake has undergone major developments with fitted out parking lots, secure surroundings, a footbridge and above all what many have been waiting for for years: night lighting for winter sessions. ! In short, he has nothing to envy of his cousin from Tours and even exceeds him in terms of amenities for the rider.
You can go around the lake on foot or by bike, has an aquatic center, children's games and a sailing center. You can fish there under certain conditions, especially carp, and many activities take place there all year round.
But the main difference with the Lake of Tours lies in its wood which offers many training possibilities, with more or less wide, steep trails, and its rugged profile is perfect for hill climbs or cross training.
