Beautifully situated refuge on one of the most beautiful panoramic mountains in the foothills of the Alps.
Visitors can see up to 36 peaks of the Eastern Alps from the Obersberg Forest Friends Hut at an altitude of 1,464 meters. A literally heavenly panorama - not just for many a pilgrim who stops here on their way to Mariazell. To fortify themselves, the kitchen recommends cheese dumplings and a piece of the homemade cakes.
Opening times: mid-May - September; Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Overnight accommodation (beds / camp sites): currently no overnight accommodation due to renovation work
