The church is pretty central in the city. In front of the church there is one of the city's many porcelain landmarks. The porcelain fountain consists of over 45,000 plates and is a very well-known building. It is considered the capital of "white gold" and is home to several museums and companies, such as the Rosenthal company, which are world-famous for their ceramics.

Mountain Bike

The city church of St. Andrew was built after the devastating fire in 1856 at the site of the old town church, but not on its foundation. Noteworthy of the church, which was built in the neo-Gothic style, are the organ with its total of 2711 pipes, of which 554 are still original pipes from the workshop of Heinrich Keller, and the baroque excerpt from the 18th century.
