A rocky, knife-edged arête that, along with the Devil's Ridge, is one of the highlights of the classic Ring of Steall traverse. A head for heights is required, but the scrambling here is not technically difficult and is rated at grade one. If seeking comparison, I would say it is akin to Sharp Edge on Blencathra in the Lake District in terms of technicality.

This section is a very dangerous section, there are 2 paths over the ridge and one goes slightly around the edge of the top, however this path goes right past a drop off and we had to walk/scramble up a small thin stone ledge right on the drop off to the right, and that without backup. In our experience, it is an absolute impertinence to state this section only as "could be dangerous". Also the other way directly over the ridge leads past the chasm over large stones, 1 wrong step or loose stone and you could/will most likely fall down the chasm. We were lucky that we had good weather, little wind and no rain...
