The venue is on Ringkogelstrasse, on the saddle between Ringkogel (789 m) and Wullmenstein (867 m). At the beginning of the hiking trail, at the edge of the forest, there is a Hubertus chapel (1977).

A legend tells ... It is said that here at the venue an inn is said to have sunk into the ground on Christmas Eve because of outrageous gambling and drinking.

Hubertus Chapel
Hunting is a very old tradition. The chapel was built by the local hunters. In thought of their patron saint Hubertus, the hunters have made it their task to deal with game and forest with respect and awe.

Hubertus masses are celebrated in the chapel to show gratitude towards nature and animals. The mass is framed by brass instruments (hunting horn).

Archaeological circuit
Pay attention to the information board, this is where the circular route begins, which leads you on the traces of the historical settlement by Celts and Romans.
