    A historically and archaeologically very interesting overview of the many rich finds in the "Merovingian Burial Field in Engelmanshoven" in the January 1954 edition of the "Oude Land van Loon" by Knight Ph. de Schaetzen and M. Vanderhoeven. It shows you how extensive, important and simply 'rich' the finds made here are. Much can be admired in the Gallo-Roman museum in nearby Tongeren.
