The Cervi Museum is located in the lower Reggio plain, between the municipalities of Gattatico and Campegine, and is set in the farmhouse where the Cervi family arrived in 1934. Shot together with Quarto Camurri in retaliation in December 1943, the story of Genoeffa and Alcide's seven sons immediately assumes a strong symbolic value, while their home - during the Second World War, a point of reference and concrete help for anti-fascists, draft evaders, and for those who opposed the war - it becomes the preferred destination of all those who recognize themselves in the values of anti-fascism and democracy.
Casa Cervi becomes "Museum for the history of peasant movements, anti-fascism and resistance in the countryside" after a spontaneous process of transformation that ended with the rearrangement in 2002.
The Cervi Museum today allows you to rediscover the history of this family, through new and constantly updated tour itineraries, both within the rooms of the Museum and throughout the territory
