Just you, the bench, the roots, the expanse – and the view over the Havel, unfolding so slowly, as if it too were in no hurry. Sails drift like thoughts through the wind. Schwanenwerder lies silently there, like a forgotten promise.

You don't sit down here to rest. You sit down because you feel: This moment belongs to you – and to everyone at the same time. A secret place for what doesn't have to be loud. Just the forest, the water, and the thought that time sometimes stops – all by itself.
