Beautiful Stairs Museum
The "Beautiful Staircase" is one of the "best-preserved, historically most important half-timbered buildings from the mid-16th century in Upper Swabia" (Dr. Stefan Uhl). A special feature is the covered staircase on the outside.With the solid brick ground floor and the applied half-timbering, this type of house in Riedlingen forms the link to the solid stone house (without half-timbering like the town hall, parish barn, cinema).On the ground floor were stables and threshing floor, in both Apartments on the upper floors can only be reached via the covered outside staircase, so that no interior space was lost.

The “Ackerbürgerhaus” from 1556 with the imposing and unique “beautiful staircase” is already a museum as such. The history of the house from the 16th century can be experienced throughout the house with four exhibition floors.
