Great tour, which is quite challenging in some places.
We first considered whether we should run them because some people complained about several wide forest trails on the route.
We are happy to have chosen the Maisacher Turmsteig. Many beautiful ways. Great views. Yes, there were also these sections on "wider" forest trails. They didn't bother us at all, but were rather relaxation after strenuous climbs.
After the pavilion on the last section, we lost the original route somewhere, so we probably missed a route. On this tour you have to pay close attention to the signs (either Maisacher Turmsteig, yellow diamonds, rarely blue diamonds).
So we walked a bit differently and then came back on the right path with the yellow diamonds.
There are many opportunities for a break and picnic along the way.
