The “Landgashaus Zur Krone” in Wiechs can look back on a century of tradition. In 1834 it was acquired by Urban Flum and in 1837 the "Gemeindewirtschaft Maien" renamed it the "Gasthaus Krone". In 1918 the property came into the possession of the Ernst Hauri family and from 1949 to Herbert Hauri. In 1971 the large utility building was completely destroyed by a major fire, but was immediately rebuilt. In 1973 a guest house with an indoor swimming pool was added. In 1982 the "Landhauses Brunhilde" was inaugurated. The house is run by the 3rd generation of the Hauri family. With single rooms, double rooms, business rooms, as well as holiday apartments and a large wellness area, the needs of guests and holidays are fully covered. A special highlight is offered with a seminar room with a panoramic view, as well as another seminar room, where, among other things, a carriage museum can be visited. From a culinary point of view, high-quality products from the region are created for the guests, which the son and head chef of the house prepare together with his team.
