On the Fuorcla Funtauna, between Davos and the Albula Pass and east of Bergün, the Kesch-Hütte SAC rises to an altitude of 2,625 meters. Nestled in the breathtaking landscape of the Ela Nature Park, this hut of the Swiss Alpine Club (SAC) welcomes you. An ideal starting point for your mountain, hiking and bike tours. The Kesch Hut is beautifully located at the foot of Piz Kesch and Porchabella Glacier. When we arrived there was already a smell of plum cake outside. So we strengthened ourselves and explored for a while the area in front of the enormously eroding and melting glacier, which will probably soon be a thing of the past.

The hut was rebuilt in 2000 and is a pioneering project among the new mountaineering huts oriented towards ecological construction. The panoramic view from the dining room over to the Piz Kesch, which is illuminated in the evening, and out to the Piz Ela is also not to be despised.
