The walk between parking lot through forest to Ollisdal Bothy is without any path and the forest is not possible to walk through without great difficulties.

There is no (Komooth) path, its high gras, very soggy and when you get to the forest it gets really problematic - no path whatsoever, only directionally using Kamooth and fallen trees to traverse for km’s on end… did not enjoy that at the end of a 24 km walk :(

August 2024 same problem. Piece through forest terribly heavy. We had to orient ourselves with mobile phone on starting point. Clambering and crawling under trees. Was a disaster. No path anywhere. Fortunately stayed together with 4 other Americans and navigated together.
