    The Großer Stakenberg - after all 148.3 m high - has some special features on the summit.

    In addition to the summit cross, there is also a Wetterstein station, a summit book, a stone stele with a pretty inscription and of course the summit telephone. Here you can calmly converse with yourself or with "God". Those who hike with open eyes will also find a small bench with a beautiful view near the summit cross.

    Since there seem to be disagreements here as to whether the Stakenberg is the highest or the second highest elevation, I will also comment on it.

    The highest elevation in the Hellberge/Altmark Switzerland is not the Stakenberg. A little further south there is a mountain that cracks the 150 meters in altitude.
