    You can spend the whole day in the Palmgarten without getting bored. There is so much interesting to see. If you want to read all the posted signs, you have to come here several times. For such people, an annual pass is also worthwhile. Is the Palmgarten something for families with small children?

    Are you a cactus lover or do you prefer flowering plants, or are you even a fan of palm trees?
    It doesn't matter for everyone there is a lot to see here - on the outdoor area and in the various houses with glass domes.

    The Palmengarten is one of three botanical gardens in Frankfurt am Main and is located in the Westend district. With 22 hectares it is one of the largest gardens of its kind in Germany.
    The Frankfurt Botanical Garden, which until 2011 belonged to the Department of Biosciences at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University Frankfurt, is directly adjacent to the north-east corner of the Palmengarten. The Grüneburgpark is also in the immediate vicinity. These three gardens form the largest inner-city green space in Frankfurt. The American Consulate General was located south of the Palmengarten until October 2006.
