St. Aegidien is magnificently furnished with Gothic wall paintings and elements from the Baroque and Renaissance periods and numerous art treasures. A special attraction is the carved singing choir (1587) by Tönnies Evers the Younger and the Gothic wall paintings in the choir and in the tower hall.
