    The Gothic three-aisled hall church, built around 1320, characterizes the cityscape. Wars, devastating fires and different streams of faith changed the inner and outer appearance of the church. Neo-Gothic reconstruction from 1861 - 1869. A valuable mill altar from the second quarter of the 15th century has been preserved. It is the only sculptural representation of a Eucharistic mill. The cultural-historical inventory includes the Lübeck pulpit (1577), a Baroque crucifixion group (1710), the depiction of the Last Judgment on a wooden epitaph, the Luther picture and an altarpiece "Christ and Thomas" (1869). The Buchholz organ dates from 1831. The oldest bell was cast in 1485.

        An ecclesiastical gem is the St. Thomas Church in Tribsees, which was built around 1320 in the Gothic style and shapes the cityscape today. The mill was a very popular motif of the Cistercians, who exercised patronage over this church from the Neuenkamp monastery. When opened, the altar measures 5.50 meters wide and 2.12 meters high. In addition to the unique piece, the Lübeck pulpit piece from 1577, a baroque crucifixion group from 1710 and a Buchholz organ from 1831, which was restored in 1996, can be admired in St. Thomas Church.
        Climbing the church tower is possible after registering at the parish office.
