    The observation tower is popularly known as the "wobbly tower" because it swings at the top of the observation platform. Officially it is the Rosental Tower, which is located on the Rosental Hill. The tower is 20 meters high. From the top you have a great panoramic view of Leipzig.

                          A famous landmark in the Rosental Valley is the infamous wobbly tower. The 20-meter-high, walkable tower is somewhat hidden on a hill near Marienweg and, after climbing numerous iron steps, offers breathtaking views of the treetops, parks, and Leipzig's skyline. The climb is not for the faint of heart, especially in windy weather or for the more adventurous, but it certainly lives up to its name, especially on the viewing platform. Around the wobbly tower, you can indulge in nature at the frog pond or walk across the wooden suspension bridge.
                          This stop was created as part of the "Discover Green Corners - Leipzig's Northwest" tour by the Alliance 90/The Greens parliamentary group.
