But equally important are the safety training courses of the canoe associations, as well as the education of schools and universities. The working group of the Hildesheim schools uses the canoe sports facility in the mornings of the week and here also allows the students to pass the Sport Abitur.
The KSGH offers overnight accommodation at its clubhouse in Lönsbruch for well-known canoeists.
In the 2002 season, a new sanitary facilities and a jetty was built.
It is now possible to reach by boat on the Innerste after about 1.5 km with a Umtragung the canoe sports Bischofsmühle.
