                A beautiful lake, around which there is also a 2.5 km long hiking trail (you can also easily circle the lake by bike). Unfortunately, when I was there on September 3rd, 2022, there was very little water in the Lopausee, probably because of the drought summer this year.
                There are some seating areas around the lake and in one place on the west bank there is also some fitness equipment for seniors.

                Today I was at Lopausee for the second time, this time by bike. I passed there on a bike tour and circled the lake once and took a break at the southern end of the lake. There is a small shelter (covered seating area, but open on the sides) with two benches and a table.

                        A really nice destination. We have stayed here many times. You can hike around it, go pedal boating and go swimming in summer. There are 2 cafes, a small "fitness path", numerous explanatory boards and many benches with a wonderful view.
