      The Scharnitz Nature Park Information Center is the perfect starting point for all activities in the Karwendel Mountains that begin in Scharnitz. It is within walking distance of Scharnitz train station and also offers some paid parking.         As the western gateway to the Karwendel, the Scharnitz Nature Park Information Center is a highlight for all visitors to the region. The new information center is operated by the Olympiaregion Seefeld Tourist Association and is located right next to the associated Holzerhütte Museum and the Scharnitz nature adventure playground.
        After the completion of the shell in November 2018, the information center has been open since the end of August 2019. The official opening took place on October 12, 2019. The municipality of Scharnitz, the Olympiaregion Seefeld and the Karwendel Nature Park are very proud of this joint flagship project.
