Einersheim Palace (also Markt Einersheim Palace) is a former aristocratic residence and the original ancestral seat of the Counts of Limpurg-Speckfeld, who initially resided at Speckfeld Castle, which is now a ruin on the Schlossberg. In the second half of the 17th century, this seat was abandoned and the residence moved to the town. First of all, the rear half-timbered building, which still exists. After 1693 the Counts von Rechteren-Limpurg-Speckfeld sat there. Changes only occurred in the 19th century when the buildings were partially demolished in 1859. A new building was built on the main street in the style of the Gothic Revival.
The time of the Counts of Limpurg-Speckfeld ended in 1960. The plant was sold to the plasterer Nikolaus Knauf. He had the castle extensively restored and added the missing furniture. Today the castle is in private hands, so a visit, including the spacious garden, is not possible.
