On the right-hand side is a recycling company for construction waste. On the west side of the stockpile, it is worth making a detour to stockpile 1. A sign indicates a moderate ascent at the point where the Hammerweg meets the hill. The detour, which is well worth it, is around two kilometers. The dump plateau is a large, grassy area from which we can see the south-west of Dresden, the Freitaler Windberg and the Radebeul vineyards.
