The Kuhborn is a standing body of water southwest of the Heudeberberg near the Hasserode district of Wernigerode in the Harz Mountains.
It was part of the pond system of the Augustinian Hermitage monastery of Himmelpforten and once served as a watering hole for livestock.
Today the Kuhborn is used as a wetland biotope, among other things.
It drains via a ditch to the Holtemme.

A marked hiking trail leads directly past the Kuhborn from the Himmelpforte over the Kuhbornwiese, Piepenberg to the Kastanienplatz at Schwengskopf and further to the Plessenburg. Other paths lead over the Eichberg or the Piepergrund down to Hasserode.
