The inscription on the bell reads: "Gherardus de wou de Campis me facit anno Domini MCCCCXC benedictus qui venit in nomine Domini, osanna in excelsis" ("Gerhard Wou von Kampen poured me in the year of the Lord 1490. Praise be who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosiannah on high! ")
