Collobrières is a commune in the Var department of France and has 1,639 inhabitants. The place is part of the district of Toulon. The municipality is one of eight municipalities with the title of village de caractère du Var and is located in the Massif des Maures.

Considered the capital of the chestnut village Collobrières organizes every year a festival around the fruit. It houses a famous family factory of candied chestnuts, present on the town since 1945. With its cobbled streets and steep alleys, the small village of Collobrières is a charming destination for a stroll to discover the rural heritage of Provence. The territory also includes sites of interest: at the essential Collobrières especially the Chartreuse of Verne, the menhirs of the farm Lambert, and geological interpretation center of the Maures.
