A nice and quiet resting place in the middle of nature. The covered wooden rest area (with a table and two benches) is right next to the Radlerbrücke over the Aland (the Elbe Cycle Path runs over the bridge here). The bridge was only reopened in March of this year (2020), and the rest area was also redesigned. There used to be a wooden bridge over the Aland here, but it was pretty dilapidated (bicycles had to be pushed here). The new bridge, on the other hand, seems very robust and has a concrete substructure (the bridge railings and flooring are made of wood).
The area is beautiful and great for cycling. Since the area is one of my favorite areas, I am here often and with pleasure, because I love the area not only for cycling, for me, as a hobby photographer, there are also a lot of great photo opportunities!
