Long and quiet sandy beach that can be reached by the path that connects Calella de Palafrugell with Palamós. In front of this beach are the Formigues islands. It has no services and nudism is practiced there.

Cala Estreta is a beautiful virgin beach surrounded by cliffs. It is accessed by walking a long distance between pleasant pine forests.

To get there, take the circular path that connects Castell beach with Calella de Palafrugell and turn off along a small signposted path.

It is about 200 meters long by just five in average width and is made up of coarse-grained sand. It does not have any services, except for a small pub that is usually set up there in the summer. Nudism is very common there.

Right in front of the beach, approximately one kilometer away, are the Formigues Islands. In the center of the big island there is a small jetty. From there you get an excellent panoramic view that stretches from Platja d'Aro to Cap de Begur.
