The Rhinower church is essentially an early Gothic field stone building from the second half of the 13th century. After a big fire in 1735, the rebuilding of the church began until 1740, as the date in the weather vane shows.
The church is a pilgrimage church on the way to and from Bad Wilsnack.

In the western part of the church there is a horseshoe gallery. The Lütkemüller organ that is located there was installed in 1848. Another work of art can be found in the lower part of the tower: a carved Pietà (Mary with the body of Christ), which dates from the early 15th century. The church was renovated in 2004-2012 and is a pilgrimage church on the way to and from Bad Wilsnack.
