Elkofen Castle is privately owned, but you can walk around the castle and look at it from all sides. The location is interesting because the Schlossberg piles up in a large funnel. And here's a hint for lovers who are looking for a wedding location: You can get married in the chapel at Elkofen Castle.
In addition, there are sometimes concerts in the castle courtyard, which take place in the church of St. Michael in Alxing when it rains. Dates are published in the city magazine of the city of Ebersberg.
